Description

A perfect fall drink combining black tea, aromatic spices, and fresh orange juice. This cozy orange spiced black tea is the ultimate comforting beverage for chilly days, full of warmth and flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 black tea bags
  • 1/2 cup fresh-squeezed orange juice (or store-bought)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3-4 whole cloves
  • 1 star anise (optional)
  • 1-2 tbsp honey (to taste)
  • For Garnish (Optional): Fresh orange slices, Cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil in a small pot. Add the tea bags, cinnamon stick, cloves, and star anise (if using). Stir and lower the heat to a simmer.
  2. Simmer the mixture for about 5 minutes, allowing the spices to infuse the tea.
  3. Remove the tea bags and spices. Stir in the orange juice and honey to taste.
  4. Serve the tea hot in your favorite mugs. Optionally, garnish with a fresh orange slice and a cinnamon stick.

Notes

Fresh orange juice really elevates the flavor, but you can use store-bought if you’re in a pinch. Adjust the sweetness with honey or maple syrup.
