Description
This Halloween Graveyard Cake is creepy, chocolatey, and kid-approved! With pudding, crushed cookies, and cookie tombstones, it’s the ultimate no-bake spooky dessert for parties.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 (5-ounce) boxes instant chocolate pudding
- 6 cups cold whole milk
- 1 (10-ounce) package chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)
- 1 (7-ounce) package Pepperidge Farm Milano cookies (for tombstones)
- Gummy worms and pumpkin candy corn (optional)
- Optional add-ins: edible eyes, Halloween sprinkles, crushed pretzels, candy bones
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk pudding mix and milk until smooth. Pour into a 13×9-inch dish and refrigerate 30 minutes to set.
- Meanwhile, crush chocolate sandwich cookies in a zip-top bag with a rolling pin.
- Once pudding is firm, sprinkle crushed cookies over the top as “dirt.”
- Insert Milano cookies vertically to resemble tombstones. Write spooky messages with edible markers or melted chocolate.
- Decorate with gummy worms, candy pumpkins, or other Halloween candies.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate up to 2 hours before serving.
Notes
For best results, keep decorations separate until ready to serve so they stay crisp. Mix cocoa powder into cookie crumbs for darker “dirt.” Add edible grass or candy skeletons for extra creepy flair.
